This map features energy auditors, utilities, and grant writers that can help you with energy conservation and efficiency on your farm.

The best way to get started with energy efficiency projects is to contact your local utility provider to see what services and technical assistance they provide. All of the state’s rural electric cooperatives, along with appropriate contact people, are listed below.

If you know of providers that might want to be listed on this map, please contact Jake Fischer at The Minnesota Project at jfischer@mnproject.org. This is certainly an ever evolving endeavor.

Using the Map:

• Near You: Type your full address (including city, state, and zip) into the Google search bar at the bottom of the map. The map will find the location. Next, use the map tools to zoom out until you can see other points on the map. Those will be the ones closest to you.
  
• Get Info: Click on a name in the list on the left or a marker on the map to learn more about an organization.
  
• Map Controls: Use the map tools to zoom in and out, as well as up, down, left, and right
  
• Filtering: Start typing a category (auditor, grant writer, or utility) to narrow results.
